what is this Zichy's (Михай Зичи) painting about?

I come accross this picture reproduced on a vintage old postcard. I would like to know something about the painting and allegorical meaning of it. I can of course easily guess the interpretation myself (roughly saying helplessness in the face of approaching death, anger caused by this fact while.there is so much to do...) ..but I would like to know something more about the origins, subject etc...anything I would find in a book on history of art....I know Zichy was active in Russia but of Hungarian origin..I looked in the net but could not find anything referring to this artwork...possibli it is just a graphic .....Thanks for help
