I have a large vintage black and white ad or photo of a woman with a silly look on her face next to an elks head with the caption "Oh How I Love an Elk". It is signed Celebrity Art Boston Copyright 1947. I don't recognize the woman in the picture. Does anyone know anything about Celebrity Art or where I can find other pictures by them?
I don't think she's a celebrity. I think "Celebrity Art" is just the name of the Boston company that designed the poster for the nonprofit volunteer organization The Elks ( http://www.elks.org/ ). The Elks often used pictures of beautiful women in their posters to try to allure men to join their group.
