pottery ,losol ware pattern cromer can any one tell me i have a plate with pansies type flowers on it.?
The marking on the back is the nude potter ,and above him is cromer below him is 1790 and K@CoB Late Mayers Losol ware,a number 1446 a letter N, and a small blue daisy there are no made in England or Ltd the plate is 15 inches long 12 inches wide with gold leaf to the edges and flowers which are blue and orange in colour thanks if any one can help would like to know its age and value if any thanks Martin.
Losol ware was originally made by Keeling & Co (hence the K & Co) a firm founded in 1886. You can find Losol ware in antiques price guides. Have a look at this site and see if you can find something matching or near to yours
